The International San Ten Karate Association was founded in 1979 by Hanshi Vincent A. Cruz, now a tenth dan in Traditional Shotokan Karate.
Current News: On November 7, 2009, Master Vincent Cruz was elevated to the rank of 10th dan by the ISKA Black Belt Quorum, at a dinner in his honor in Martinez, California. Signatories to the 10th-dan certificate included Ricardo Llewelyn, Robert Stevenson, Bruce Clayton, Armando Jemmott, Ashton Jardine, Richard Rodriguez, Randhir Bains, and Ricardo Johns.
